This test unit is used to check radio signalling procedures in radio systems for servicing, commissioning or during development work and for radio monitoring
All known analogue or digital selective call procedures can be generated and decoded with the SRTG-GA82. Proprietary tone sequences, or digital signalisation can also be easily generated. Beyond this, custom specific test procedures, matched to the target systems can be integrated.
Battery driven, small and robust, the SRTGGA82 represents a useful tool for evaluating and servicing radio networks.
Not only known standard frequency series for analogue systems or standardised telegrams for digital signalisation systems are programmable, but also procedures for generating and evaluating user-orientated analogue and digital sequences.
The following parameters are programmable
Frequency groups
32
Individual frequencies
32 per group
Centre frequency error
Total or per tone
Tone length
1 to 4000 ms
Pause length
0 to 4000 ms
Transmitter lead time
0 to 4000 ms
Encoder AF level
Total or per tone
Decoder AF level
SEL signal contact
Assigned to selective calls
Pre filter
Flat, HP, LP, BP
Single frequency synthesizer
50 to 5000 Hz
Radio data transmission
Up to single bit sequences; FSK, PSK
Linking different
call formats
ZVEI - DTMF, sequential
ZVEI - CTCSS parallel
Programming is via the keyboard or through the built-in RS-232 interface. Programming is menue driven. Me-nue display or selective call data is presented on a LCD display having 4 x 20 characters and a scroll func-tion.
